It was nice to have a laid back day where I didn't have to work and then take care of the last minute things I normally have to.  I can relax and enjoy Christmas.  The most strenuous thing I'll be doing is cooking Christmas dinner.  (I love to cook...no big deal.)  I did have to go to Best Buy to purchase the last gift for BB.  He wanted the Futurama DVD.  I was shocked to say I was only in the store for about fifteen minutes.  I also looked at computer accessories.

It was nice to turn the lights off with exception to the lights I have on our deck and sit and just talk about different subjects.  It was a quiet night together.  We spoke of our families and moving back to Maine.  We are getting exited to go home.  All in all, we haven't had the opportunity to just sit without being distracted by TV, or phone calls or whatever.  I just love listening to his voice.  It soothes and calms me.  Oh how I wish I was snuggled up beside him in bed right now rather than typing.  Oh well...that's what I get for wanting to breathe.  Sudafed keeps one awake.

We both miss our families.  I know my mother spent the day cooking and baking.  My older sister did the same.  She will have a house full of people.  She does every year.  My younger sister will go to her sister-in-law's house.  I feel for her.  They don't get along.  She had to buy and wrap last minute things.  It will be nice to celebrate with family next year.

It is hard to believe that we only have two months left here.  Our lease is up in February.  I'll give my notice in the middle of the month.  They already know it is coming. I'm not sure if they will let me give two weeks notice and let me work them or just let me go with their blessing.  I'll be prepared either way.
