As much as I want to leave this place, I know I will miss the people we have met here.  Jay, John, Holley, Al the guys from MMI.  I've met some amazing people at my new job.  Heather, Laura, Jen and there are more.  These people have become good friends.  I know that most of them will never be seen by me again.  This makes me truly sad.  I hope we can keep in touch, but I also know how that goes.  Phone calls, emails are many in the beginning and soon lessen to a trickle.  Then nothing.  The same thing happened with our friends when we moved out here.  Most of them called frequently in the beginning.  It seemed we were forgotten pretty quickly.  There are a couple of people who still call us regularly.  (You know who you are...you actually read this diary. I miss you. I can't wait to see you again.) My birthday was last week.  So few calls...  Last year it was crazy!  I don't think I could barely end a call before another one was ringing through...this year it was my family and the closest friends.  I'm not saying this to feel sorry for myself.  I had a great birthday! 

BB is helping Jay drive back to California next week.  Jon, Holley and their families are going back to Washington on Friday.  They were the people we spent most time with in the past 15 months.  Comfortable friendships.  We have Kevin and Royce.  I'll leave it to we have Kevin.  We don't think that relationship is going to last much longer.  I know I bitch about BB sometimes, but that is worse.  I'm not taking care of someone else's kids as well.  It's tight here, I don't know how he does it with three of them. 

We will be leaving here soon as well.  We need to make enough money to get home.  Comfortably if I can help it.  We need to find a place to live and jobs.  I'll even do the temp agencies...I will not work in retail again.  I have to get my insurance license transferred to Maine.  I'll start that process soon.  I need to get my resume updated and I should see about is as well.  Lists and lists of things that need to be done.  BB and I were talking about beginning the packing process.  We really don't need a lot of stuff we have accumulated.  It will start to go sooner rather than later.  Watching other people begin to pack at the last minute is scary!
